Afghan female MPs on radio

A range of media training activities in the Khaberi Kawen programme help female MPs to better develop networks of supporters and peers. Programme participants are able to build their public speaking skills, increase public recognition, and foster relationships with press organizations. Combining the use of radio broadcasts, live presentation skills and best practices in social media outreach opens new opportunities to increase support for change.

The Khaberi Kawen programme – meaning "to speak" –  is implemented by Gender Concerns International in partnership with the Women Human Rights and Media Organization (WHMO). This project is supported by the US Embassy in Kabul.
